Camilla holds a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), abiding by their codes of conduct and ethical framework.

She currently works as a volunteer counsellor at the mental health charity Lifecraft in Cambridge.  She has also recently volunteered with Blue Smile providing art and play therapy sessions for children in primary education.

In addition to her counselling work, Camilla has twenty years experience of working with children, young people and adults in social care, education and community art settings both in the UK and abroad.  She feels passionate about nurturing and empowering individuals to find their own means of positive expression.

She also holds a Bachelors Degree in Art and Design and has completed a number of courses in Art Psychotherapy. In her experience, Camilla has found that the creative arts can be a valuable way for clients to discover their own ways for free expression when sometimes words may feel too overwhelming.

In order to further her training and knowledge and provide the best practice for her clients, she regularly participates in continuous professional development and counselling supervision.
